Love it :: Caitlin McGauley

Every week I look forward to Watercolor Wednesday on Lonny's blog. Caitlin McGauley's watercolors just ooze style.

A week already?

So I guess I've made myself scarce this past week, sorry about that. Last Wednesday I had a little kitchen mishap which involved stitches so I've been a little off my game. My grand plans of organizing all of my piles and closets hasn't fared so well. That's ok I have plenty of time to procrastinate on that. In fact in a little effort to procrastinate some more I think I need to do/try/make/find the following items.

Chocolate Sorbet - Made by local lifestyle guru Jaimee. I must make this, yum.

Stalk the web for an astronomy print.

Read the following book.

Obsess about this handbag. I just noticed that they're selling the neon Cambridge Satchels at J.Crew. Thank you for making my stalking this item much easier.

Which kind of reminds me of this artist who I adore.

Hopefully this will keep me busy until the mood strikes to get productive again.

Cavallini & Co Decorative Wrap

A couple of weeks ago I was in an art supply store getting a drawing pad for Big's art class and they had a huge selection of gorgeous Cavallini & Co. decorative papers. Yes they're for wrapping gifts but I say they're much too pretty. I think framing them would be even better. A great inexpensive way to add some on trend art.

Unfortunately the website doesn't show all of the good stuff that they have, I say check out your local retailer.

Mr. Oh Happy Day

I know we're all too familiar with the fabulousness of Jordan from Oh Happy Day but let's just talk about her husband for a minute. I've been in love with her husband Paul's landscapes for a while now but have you seen the pink 4 layer cake? I'm completely in love.

Art-O-Mat

I just read about the first local Art-O-Mat, it's the coolest thing ever! I was surprised that I haven't heard about it before (at least in my corner of blogland). Artists sell their work in vintage repurposed cigarette vending machines. Ones that look like this.
Isn't it beyond? You have no idea how much I love it. If you're local go check it out at Vision Gallery in Chandler, I may just be heading in the tomorrow. I don' t want the supply to run out!
