Kindle 2

I'm not a techie but I have a crush on the Kindle 2. My husband and I went to Hawaii a couple years ago and I read the two books that I brought and made him stop at a bookstore to pick up a couple more. It would have been so much more handy to have my picks all loaded and ready to go on this baby.

Do any of you have one? I would love to hear your feedback.

I'm so on the fence. I think it's really cool that the new one holds so many books and it downloads in less than a minute per book. That's awesome, but I think I love the touch and feel of a book too much to switch to a kindle. Maybe for vacations. I like you always travel with many books and have been know to pay a few too many euro's when I run out of books in my travels.

I have never heard of this thing? It sounds awesome. Is it like and ipod but for books? I don't read but Chris does. He keeps buying more and more books and I hate them just sitting on the shelf wasting space! So now with the economy too I make him go to the library. But I bet he would love this thing!!

I sort of have a Kindle crush too. I'm a huge book person but I so want one. I blogged about it a while back trying to give the big hint to my hubby.

I really really really want one but I would need to see it in person first. Is there anyway to do that!? There should be...

I don't have one, but my secretary has one. She has the first Kindle and she LOVES IT! She carries it in her purse everywhere. She said the first Kindle is better than the 2nd. Apparently you can't use a card in the 2nd one so there's less storage. I think she has over 1K books on hers! Sony makes one similar and you can see it in person at Target. I'm torn. I really want one and think it would make me read more.

I would LOVE to have one.

It is my wish that I get one someday...

but I would have to see it in person... wish Best Buy or some store would have one on display.

I like the idea of it and have it on my wishlist but truth be told I may be a hard convert. I think I'm too old school for the daily reading. I still like to touch and feel the pages turn. For travel, it's a must.

I think it is as great idea! If I had more time to read, I would love one.
