A week already?

So I guess I've made myself scarce this past week, sorry about that. Last Wednesday I had a little kitchen mishap which involved stitches so I've been a little off my game. My grand plans of organizing all of my piles and closets hasn't fared so well. That's ok I have plenty of time to procrastinate on that. In fact in a little effort to procrastinate some more I think I need to do/try/make/find the following items.

Chocolate Sorbet - Made by local lifestyle guru Jaimee. I must make this, yum.

Stalk the web for an astronomy print.

Read the following book.

Obsess about this handbag. I just noticed that they're selling the neon Cambridge Satchels at J.Crew. Thank you for making my stalking this item much easier.

Which kind of reminds me of this artist who I adore.

Hopefully this will keep me busy until the mood strikes to get productive again.

Love it :: Ombre Wedding Gown

Since I blog for The Invitation Lady I often peruse the wedding scene and sometimes I'm totally blown away by the coolness of a wedding. This one had me at the bride's gown, (wow, which she designed herself). Love, love, love it!

The rest of the details from the venue to the favors are equally as ridic. See it all HERE.

House Rules

I just spotted this photo on LaLaLovely and thought was a perfect way to use chalkboard paint. Nothing like a special place to remind the fam of what's really important.

My cookie problem

So my neighborhood Girl Scout delivered my cookies today, 2 boxes of Thin Mints to be exact. This year I decided to be a bit more frugal with my cookie order because I'm the one that eats them (all). Since I only have 2 measly boxes I was very disappointed when they were all melted and stuck together. Now they're all cooled off and still stuck together. Mighty annoying ladies.

Now onto the uni, did you all wear these? I really wanted to find a picture of the t-shirt that I really wanted when I was a Brownie, you know the one that said, "Here comes a Brownie" on the front and, "There goes a Brownie" on the back. No such luck though which is really sad because it was bitchin.

Monogram Mugs

I know that we're all obsessed with the Monogram mugs from Anthro, so look at this adorable floral display using them. How cute would this be on a Valentine's Day table or any table for that matter?

Art-O-Mat

I just read about the first local Art-O-Mat, it's the coolest thing ever! I was surprised that I haven't heard about it before (at least in my corner of blogland). Artists sell their work in vintage repurposed cigarette vending machines. Ones that look like this.
Isn't it beyond? You have no idea how much I love it. If you're local go check it out at Vision Gallery in Chandler, I may just be heading in the tomorrow. I don' t want the supply to run out!

Kate Spade Tokyo

I love the New York Kate Spade flagship store but the new one in Tokyo is pretty fab too. I mean how cute is this little brass owl? Love him.

Not to mention the chandeliers and the floor...so much shopping goodness.

Fifi Lapin

As you know I adore Fifi Lapin {the world's most stylish bunny} so I was so excited to see that her sweet little mug is on some shirts from F21. I want one but I'm kinda worried that I'll look like a old hag trying to look young. Eww, I know we all hate that. Maybe I'll wear it as jammies...

August 19, 2009

Hear ye, hear ye, I need some ideas peeps.

I'm kind of in a blog funk. Nothing is inspiring me or begging me to blog about it, I hate that. What do you all do to stay inspired or get those creative juices flowing? I love that feeling of being on a roll when one idea flows from another, know what I mean? So any suggestions for cool new blogs, tumblrs or flickr pages would be much appreciated. Please, please share with me what's flipping your skirt. Thanks in advance my friends.

Her Morning Elegance

OK you may all have seen this but I'm the jerk that rarely watches video clips so it's new to me. It's mesmerizing and the little dance sequence at 2:48 is my favorite part.

Kindle 2

I'm not a techie but I have a crush on the Kindle 2. My husband and I went to Hawaii a couple years ago and I read the two books that I brought and made him stop at a bookstore to pick up a couple more. It would have been so much more handy to have my picks all loaded and ready to go on this baby.

Do any of you have one? I would love to hear your feedback.
