Stop it already!

Seeing this movie poster with Renee Zellweger's pursed lips makes me not want to see the flick. I know it's silly, stupid and a bit immature but this face that she makes drives me crazy. If I see her in a movie I'm always completely distracted by her wacky expressions.

I don't mind her acting but...ugh, I can't seem to get past it. Am I alone in this kind of weirdness?

I haven't seen those ads yet over here... but I did think of you last night as I watched my first episode of The City... not so proud to say it, but (in a whispered tone) I love it:-)

Olives - I'm so glad you love it. I feel like I should be whispering too. {cue conspiratorial wink}

Omg god. Thank you for posting this. I don't mind Renee and normally enjoy her movies, but this one looks horrible!!!

Not sure why, but I've seen the movie posters everywhere. From hair salon windows in Chinatown to my local Borders. Way to promote it. Even Perez has a billion images of it.

I was actually discussing it with my husband last night and he thinks that the movie is probably horrible and the movie studio knows it so they are promoting it like crazy and hoping to make all their money on the opening weekend, because after that no one well see it.

I'm thinking that the hubs is on to something.

Do they pay up to put a poster up in your store? What's the incentive to do it?

I actually do a pretty decent imitation of her with those pursed lips. And yes, that face drives me crazy.
