Something's gotta give

All of you Mommas out there do you ever fall prey to one of those kid's marketing gimmicks? The other day at the groc I actually bought these at the multiple requests of my Big.You would have thought that he had found a golden ticket he was so excited. I suppose saying yes in the dairy aisle beats saying yes at the checkout candy. Though my kids are happy just to smell the candy at the checkout because they know I won't buy anything. Weird, I know but letting them smell it beats them asking over and over for some. As a mother sometimes something has to give, my giving is the occasional can of Spaghettios (which they hated thank goodness) or pack of Danimals Crush Cups. Everyone has their breaking point, what's yours?

I have never seen one of these, though my daughter loved the Danimals go-gurt (if Horizon isn't in stock).

I guess Harris Teeter hasn't gotten hip to them yet!

Too funny...T spotted those immediately the other day at the store! (I said no..looked too messy) However, now he decided to "crush" his regular yogurt cups. Talk about messy....

My 3 year old thinks graham crackers are a huge treat, shhhhh! Don't tell her about crush cups! :)

Kim - That's why I finally caved! After seeing them on the commercials Big was crushing his regular yogurts. Haha that's funny. :)

On a related note, I was resisting the Go-gurts, and finally resolved that I would at least get the Horizon ones because they would still be a treat, but somewhat healthier. Wrong! They have more sugar than Go-gurts.

Fell for this one as well-- all I can say is great advertising..a big let down at the Fall house...I think my kids thought something magical would happen when they squeezed the sides...nope just yogurt guys...the same yogurt in the tube!

Yeah, those are gross. I did say no to them the other day but I have said yes to plenty of other things - hotdogs, corny dogs, go gurts.

Funny, what is the difference between a regular yogurt cup and these? My kids were super excited and they ended up just being messy. Oh well. trial and error!
