Bah humbug!

I'm bad. I haven't even begun to think about Christmas cards in fact I've been avoiding it...la la la...if I don't think about it maybe it will go away. Or maybe it won't. Here's last year's card (which I loved), my grandma knitted the boys' sweaters and it's shots of them playing.

This year I have nothing, not much of a budget, no good photo or even a good idea. Anything, ideas??

When I am lazy - we always use some of my blank stationary and just write a little note like "From our house to yours, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a splendid New Year. Sincerely, Sarah & Derek". It's the thought that counts right?? :)

I like your action shots. Papi has been working hard to teach our kids how to ride without training wheels. I'm hoping to take a picture of them doing that, and make it our Christmas card. Or, you know, our New Year's card...

Sarah - I like the way you think, simple and classic.

Mamacita - I know what you mean, my Christmas cards may turn out to be Valentines.

Wow, I thought you were freaked to put your little ones pics up there. So glad you shared!!! Adorable card.

I've had my cards just sitting on my table, I have been in denial that they won't jump into addressed envelopes and walk to the post office for stamps. Ugh.

There is something about this year that has me stuck on my cards too.
I wanted to tell Mamacita that she should write on her card with her little one's on the bike " Oh What Fun it is to Ride" you know like the jingle bell song. We made a poor attemet to do something similar this year with the whole family on ATV's. That was my idea and it bombed. Instead I'm doing a cheesey picture of the family on the beach. Oh well you can have the most amazing card every year.

I really like that 2peas1pod company I posted about. I am a huge fan of the one simple candid shot, so it's not too late to get one of those!
