Little

Little often asks me, "Where's my brother?" and it always fills my heart with good stuff. When I hear him call Big my brother, I can hear it in his voice that he thinks of him as that protector, friend, confidante. Seriously there is nothing better for a mom.

It makes up for the other brotherly ribbing and bickering doesn't it? We'll save those discussions for another day shall we? 

PS - I know the poster has nothing to do with my littles but I think they would love it and I think it's pretty cool.  May the force be with you.

Hello Summer

Santa Photobooth? Love it!

Rats! Why didn't I see this sooner? Big has his Christmas party at school today and I think that this would have been a huge hit. A bunch of littles clowning with Santa accessories would have been too cute...next year.

I love it when I stumble upon something super cool! These letter plates from Just Noey are totally cute although I don't know what I would use them for. Hmmm...I guess it doesn't really matter, a plate covered with treats like breakfast food and desserts can never be bad.

I'm completely swooning over these paper bouquets and pomanders from Whether Paperworks at Etsy. They're handcrafted and can be made with keepsake paper from your favorite books or photos. So gorge right?

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Angela from Seesaw Designs, I'm sure many of you bloggers will recognize the name from their bada*& calender that was all over blogland. Well the girls from Seesaw decided to open a vintage Etsy shop, which like their calendar doesn't disappoint.

Etsy personal shopping

This morning I did a little Etsy shopping and here's what I found.

My trip started off with this adorable child's chair. I've always really wanted a vintage child's desk you know the ones that are all one piece? Well I've yet to find one, I live in a city with little to no good vintage shopping.

Next up some industrial bins, I love how they look all stacked up.

Here's where my trip gets kinda sad, I'm posting girl's vintage pink play kitchens. I have no girls. So I suppose I'm shopping vicariously for some of my favorite preggo bloggers (yes I'm talking you sweet Amber, Erika & Melisa) who are expecting darling girls.

And to finish of my trip a dolls highchair, cute stuff.

Get your 4th on

We've decided to have a little fireworks watching party with family for the 4th, you can see them from our back yard. Since we have been on vacation I haven't had much time to think about it but today thanks to Etsy I've found what I needed. In comes Paper and Cake.

Easy as pie PDF's to print up some holiday cuteness, all I have to do is the printing and assembly.

Looks like I know what I'm going to be doing tonight.

Prom

While browsing Etsy I spotted an article about prom dresses. This one in particular made me click. I love it and if I were 17 this is what I would be wearing. Oddly enough it looks a lot like a prom dress that I did wear, raspberry with a sequined bodice and a bubble skirt. This must be the updated version. So let's talk prom am I the only one who wore hideous dyed to match shoes?

I've been looking for an address stamp for awhile and I think I've found the perfect one! Hand calligraphy and type, so cute.

I loved the one that Jordan made, so I was excited when I found this on Etsy. Now I just need to find a baby so I can buy one.

Love Mix

Cassette tapes bring me back to the good ole' days which is why I love this little Love Mix bag. I loved making mixed tapes with my friends, my favorites were the ones we would make for summer and spring breaks. Fun memories that's for sure.

I really like the graphic orange print of the Weekender Tote but more importantly I LOVE the jute upholstery tape trim. So cute, the perfect bag for fall weather.
