Kitchen Rugs

Do you all use rugs in your kitchens? I always think it looks really good and then I think of how gross my floors get so quickly and I can't do it. With the kids' snacky crumbs and drips of juice I think they'll be ruined in no time.

If you do use them tell me all of your tricks, I'm all ears.

  1. This is why I can't quite bring myself to get a dining room rug...yet!

But, the Dash and Albert cotton rugs are adorable for kitchens, and I think you can just toss them in the machine.

  2. That is such a pretty kitchen.

I have 2 rugs that are rolled up and stashed into the pantry because they were crumb & juice magnets so I hear you.

Gag but this weather is killin me. I hope you are surviving over yonder.

  3. I think the same thing, they look adorable but yuck. Maybe in front of my sink, but I don't know.

  4. I use them at our cabin since it is an easy way to add a punch of color to our all white kitchen.

Check out Dash & Albert, they say you shouldn't toss them in the wash but I do, just let them air dry. I tend to wash mine about once a week, but they do get hit with the vacuum at least once a day.

  5. Dash and Albert (Pine Cone Hill) have some great kitchen rugs and some that are indoor/ outdoor that are wonderful for cleaning- check out their site- we can order you one if you find one you like! They definitely have to be washer friendly in the kitchen!!
