I know I should be excited but I'm not.

Ugh, I'm so dreading tomorrow. It's Little's 4th birthday. It's not possible for my little baby who we've called Bottle Boy, Drama, Buzzkill and we're now on Frank the Tank to be that old. Not only do I not want him to get any bigger because I miss having a baby, I feel old. Like old as the hills old and it sucks. That's all.

This picture from Desire to Inspire really has nothing to do with this post but I like it.

  1. Oh sugar..it is a little painful to see the little ones grow older and those darn birthdays just remind us of that factor.

Have a really fun day anyway and Happy birthday to your little guy.

  4. I just asked a client today how old her son was, she replied 'He is 7, I never felt old till his most recent birthday party.' So true, they grow up so fast, enjoy it while he still loves you and thinks you do know everything. ;)

  10. Ugh, my puppy just turned one and I am feeling your pain. I miss the baby dog (but I don't miss the crying at night or the peeing on the carpet).

Yours is human, mine has 4 legs and fur, but the emotions are all the same.

  13. I feel your pain! My baby boy is in college and I remember his 4th birthday like it was yesterday. Cherish these days while he still thinks you are the coolest person in the world! BTW...I received my Stella and Dot bangle and I love it...so does my teenage daughter!
    Happy birthday Bottle Boy...so cute!

  14. Happy birthday to your little one (or should I say 'Happy un-birthday to him' since he's getting to be so old?) :)

Love how crisp and white those two rooms are.
