Silhouettes

A long time ago I posted these wanting to make some myself. Well as usual it took me forever to do it and finally here they are. Ta da!

It was one of my new year's goals to actually make them so I'm pretty happy. So far so good on the goals front. I did organize my closet in case you all were wondering and now all I have left is to paint my doors. I've bought the paint I just need to designate a good weekend to do it. How are the goals going for you good or just so-so?

  10. Ok here's the skinny, the frame is in my bedroom and the total time was about an hour and a half. I printed pictures of the boys on photo paper, cut them very, very carefully with an exacto and then sprayed them with matte black spray paint. Then when they were dry (the next day) I mounted them on cardstock and put them in a shadowbox frame. Honestly the most difficult part was getting my little turkeys pictures in profile. Super easy and most of the stuff I already had on hand.

You can do this it's a piece of cake, promise!

  11. These are so cute Sarah! Good job! I saved a "how to" on doing this and etching it on a mirror or like drinking glasses. But never got to doing it, but they were really cute. Wouldn't it be cute to have a set of glasses with each of the family member profile on it? Anyway these are super cute!
