What's in a name?

OK I need some help and I thought who better to come to than you! As many of you know I'm a Pilates instructor and I teach at a local studio [which I LOVE] but every now and again I get a request to teach privates with friends or family. So this year I've decided to make that happen by setting myself up with some business cards if someone is interested. So I need to come up with a name for my teeny little venture.

I'm not looking to be the next Mari Windsor or anything; but if a neighbor asks and doesn't want to make the drive to the studio I teach at I would love to be able to do it myself at their home. So please help, I'm taking any and all suggestions! You can comment or email me at sarahsfabday[at]gmail[dot]com.

  1. How exciting! Congrats on your new venture and I had no clue that you took Pilates!

Anyway totally want to help with figuring out a name, but you have any common pilates terms that you post so I can get the juices following and try to think of something?

  2. Ok my questions for you...
Do you want your name to be focused on the spritual or "mind" part of pilates or the physical or "body balanced" side?

Do you want something catchy or practical?

  3. Camila - I will be emailing you shortly.

Jenn - Probably more on the body side and you know me so catchy or practical it doesn't really matter.

  17. I'm back. I've been thinking about words that have to do with the body's form, here's what I came up with:
    F O R M + function : pilates
obviously with a super cool (flowy?) logo? I'll keep thinking.
