Silhouettes - played?

I saw these darling silhouettes on Oh Joy and loved that they were colorful and the dog for me was the icing on the cake. I would love to make some of the boys and our two doggie daughters Chloe and Stella but first I need to pose two questions to you.

{Carter Kustera silhouettes}

1. Where do you think a grouping of family silhouettes would look good? 2. Before I hop on this train do you think they're played out? I know on the second question is more an issue of if I like it or not, but I'm interested to hear your feedback.

  1. I made silhouettes of our family, Burkly Deluxe included and they are hanging in the bathroom. I think these are cute and packed with personality!

  5. I was watching Young At Heart with Frank Sinatra and Doris Day last night, and I saw they had these in their family room. I think they look great anywhere, as they add class to a room!

  7. I made a set of my three pets and they are hanging in the guest bedroom. They make me so happy when I see them, and whenever we have guests, they ask me to make some for them as well!

  10. I'm a huge fan, if they're simple & clean you can't go wrong. A friend at works has been bugging me to make some for him.
